Introduction

Lets start a new habit

Published on December 10, 2024

I'm 22 years old now, and I've started reading books over the last couple of years. Although I'm not always consistent, I wish I could have started earlier. But as a quote in Hindi goes: "jab jaago tabhi savera" (It's never too late to start), so be it.

I long for clarity of thought to dispel the constant clouds in my mind. One way I believe I can achieve this is by writing it down.

Recently, I read a chapter titled "How to Stick with Good Habits Every Day" from the book Atomic Habits by James Clear. In this chapter, he talks about a rule called "Never miss twice."

According to Clear, missing a habit once is an accident, but missing it twice is the beginning of a new habit that can ruin your progress. This concept resonated with me, and I plan to follow this rule—whether on a daily or weekly basis. I'll aim to write something meaningful here, consistently showing up and sticking to my commitment.

Thank you for reading.
